Rough Journey – Shauna Kay Hines

Jamaica’s Taekwondo athlete Shauna Kay Hines says it has been rough journey for her over the past few years as she gears up to represent the country at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.

Hines will be among history as the sport of Taekwondo will make its entry into the Paralympics for the first time.

She says despite all the challenges including mental and financial she is ready to deliver a medal for the country.

Hines also spoke about her expectations

Jamaica will be sending a total of four athletes to the Paralympics including the veteran Sylvia Grant who will contest the discus, quarter miler Alberto Campbell and Theador Suba in judo.

The Tokyo Paralympic games runs from August 24 to September 5
