Some 60 homeless persons in the Corporate Area received the Covid-19 vaccine on Thursday, (August 19).

Mayor of Kingston Delroy Williams made the announcement, while speaking at a ground breaking ceremony in Bellrock, Olympic Gardens in St. Andrew, yesterday (August 20).

He said, if necessary, efforts will be made to have other members of the homeless population vaccinated.

And the Mayor is assuring that the homeless will be fed during the 7 no movement days, which will commence tomorrow (August 22).
