Efforts continue to supply the nation’s hospitals with medical oxygen.

This following the arrival of bulk oxygen in the country, as the health sector, grappled with low amounts for the treatment of Covid-19 patients.

IGL, the country’s sole oxygen producer says oxygen is being distributed to facilities quickly.

Its understood that some hospitals have already benefited, while others are still waiting for the supply.

Regional Director at Southern Regional Health Authority, Michael Bent said hospitals in the region have oxygen.

Meanwhile Regional Director of the Western Regional Health Authority, St. Andrade Sinclair, said oxygen is still limited but should be able to last until midday tomorrow (August 31).
