The Ministry of Health and Wellness says it will seek to review how best it can accommodate persons who are seeking to be vaccinated against Covid-19.

This, as there were long lines at some vaccination sites, today (August 30).

Additionally, some persons seeking to be vaccinated at the National Arena in Kingston, had to be turned away because the site had reached it’s vaccination capacity.

Those persons were directed to the Mona Ageing and Wellness Centre on the UWI, Mona Campus.

Director of Family Health Services in the Ministry of Health and Wellness, Dr. Melody Ennis told Irie FM News that an assessment will be done to see how the process can be improved.
