President of the Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association, JHTA, Clifton Reader says some of the country’s hotels have achieved staff vaccination rates of up to 90 percent.

Mr. Reader notes that the industry has been working hard to increase vaccination rates by bringing the vaccination sites to the workers.

He says several hundred workers have been vaccinated in recent days.

Mr. Reader says bringing the vaccines to workers in addition to educating them, proved effective in increasing vaccination numbers in the industry.
