The Ministry of Justice says two family courts will be opened in short order.

They are to be opened in Manchester and St. Ann.

Speaking at the Ministry’s press conference yesterday, (September 28), Mr. Chuck said the courts are slated to offer more services.

According to Mr. Chuck, the courts form part of government’s efforts to promote dispute resolution.

He noted that the opening of more Restorative Justice Centres, will also aid the process.
