Director of the Cannabis Licensing Authority, Dr André Gordon is promising that new laws to develop business from Marijuana in Jamaica, could be in place by April next year.

According to Dr Gordon, the authority intends to submit its recommendations for the new regulations accompanying the Dangerous Drugs Amendment Act by the end of March next year

He says this amendment to The Act will facilitate the development of a ganja industry in Jamaica.

Dr Gordon was addressing participants at the annual Rastafari Roots Fest and Cannabis Cup celebration in Negril, Westmoreland yesterday (Saturday, November 14, 2015).
