Sean Paul, PopCaan, Beenie Man, Cecile, Denyque, Khalia, Ding Dong, Romain Virgo, Tarrus Riley, and rapper Juicy J are some of the entertainers congratulating Shenseea on winning the coveted Best Reggae Act title for the 2021 MOBO Awards.

Multi-MOBO winners Sean Paul and PopCaan who were among the entertainers vying for the 2021 title, took to Instagram to share a comment under a post made by the Shen Yeng boss.

In the comment section, Sean Paul wrote, “Congrats mi g” while PopCaan dropped three red heart emojis.

Shenseea copped the MOBO Award ahead of Spice, Skillibeng, and Lila Ike.

On Instagram, Shenseea shared a snippet of her music video for her song ‘Run, Run’ along with the MOBO artwork that revealed she’s the winner with her over 4.7 million followers. In the caption, the Dancehall entertainer thanked the MOBO Award committee and those who voted.

2021 is ending with a bang for Shenseea who scored a Grammy nomination for her feature on Kanye West’s DONDA album which is vying for album of the year.

According to the Grammy website, the Recording Academy has stipulated that this year, if an album is up for Album Of The Year, then all credited technical and creative contributors who worked on that album are automatically nominated.

On Kayne’s Donda album, Shenseea was a featured artist on the tracks, ‘Pure Souls’ and ‘OK OK pt 2’, while Buju Banton was credited on the album for the single ‘Believe What I Say’.

The 64th Annual Grammy Awards will be held on January 31, 2022, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
