The prosecution in the Clansman/One Don Gang trial disclosed today (December 6), that it may have to seek the court’s intervention to compel telecommunication provider, Digicel, to provide call data records for the trial.
Last week the police investigator in the case told the court of difficulties the police were having, getting call data records from service providers in relation to telephone calls among the 33 alleged gang members.
The court was told this morning, that the police had received telephone records from Flow Jamaica.
Two of the telephones allegedly used by alleged gang members, were also tendered into evidence today at the trial in the Home Circuit Court.
Chief Justice Bryan Sykes is presiding over the trial, which began in September.
