One of three wards of the state who had absconded the Metcalfe Street Secure Juvenile Remand Centre, has been found.

The juveniles reportedly escaped from the isolation section of the institution after they destroyed a ventilation area made of concrete.

Speaking in the Senate today (December 10), Minister Without Portfolio in the Ministry of National Security, Matthew Samuda said he expects the other two boys to be returned, to custody soon.
