Two elderly persons are among four people who were shot and wounded at the intersection of Fitzgerald Avenue and Waltham Park Road, in Kingston 13, this afternoon (December 14).

The incident happened at about 1:30 pm.

Head of the St. Andrew South Police, Superintendent Damion Manderson told Irie Fm News that the three men and 1 woman were going about their business, when gunmen pounced upon them.

He expressed confidence that there will be a breakthrough in the case.

Superintendent Manderson is urging citizens to be vigilant.
