Grammy nominated entertainer Spice, along with Dancehall stars Sean Paul and Shaggy have made it to the playlist of US former President, Barack Obama.
Via Twitter, the 44th President of the United States shared a playlist of 27 songs that are listed as his favorite music of 2021.
On Twitter Mr. Obama said, “I’ve always enjoyed listening to a wide variety of music, so it’s no surprise that i listened to a little bit of everything this year. I hope you find a few artist or song to add to your own playlist.”
The 27-song playlist which covers a few genres, including Dancehall, features Spice’s ‘Go Down Deh’ a collaboration with international entertainers Shaggy and Sean Paul.
Other entertainers on the Obama’s playlist include Nas and Lauren Hill’s Nobody, and Cardi B and Lizzo’s Rumours, among others.
Over the years, Barack and Michelle Obama have regularly shared the music they are listening to, and Reggae and Dancehall is always in the midst.
