The Jamaica Chamber of Commerce, JCC is reporting mixed results for this Christmas, with some businesses seeing a positive turn around.
Chamber President Ian Neita said large businesses fared better than small and medium sized businesses.
He said the entertainment/events planning sector did fairly well, as many persons decided to treat themselves by going out for the holidays.
Mr. Neita said many businesses are optimistic about the upcoming new year celebration, despite the threat of the Omicron Covid variant and have adjusted their operations to benefit from the reduced curfew hours.
