Minister of Health Dr. Christopher Tufton says there has been a sharp increase in imported cases of Covid-19.

Speaking during the handing over of 5,000 Covid-19 home test kits to the Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association at the Montego Bay Convention Centre in St. James, yesterday (December 30), Dr. Tufton said 21 per cent of cases recorded so far this week were imported.

He said the increase poses a challenge for Jamaica.
