by January 14th, 2022

Weeks after postponing the 64th annual Grammy Awards, the organizers of music’s biggest night are asking social media users for their input regarding a venue.

On Thursday, the Grammys tweeted, “Where would you like to see the 2022 Grammys take place?”

Recently, the 2022 Grammy Awards was postponed indefinitely amid a resurgence of COVID cases, fueled by the Omicron variant.

Meanwhile vying for the coveted Best Reggae Album title are first-time Grammy Nominees Spice for her album 10, and Jessie Royal for his album Royal.

Previous Grammy winners Sean Paul is nominated for his album Live n Livin, and Gramps Morgan for his Positive Vibration album.

Etana, who is nominated for the second time is vying for the title for her album Pamoja, while American Reggae Band Soja is nominated for their project, Beauty in the Eyes.

Meanwhile, both Shenseea and Buju Banton have scored a Grammy nomination for their features on Kanye West’s DONDA album which is vying for album of the year.

The Recording Academy in 2021 stipulated that, if an album is up for Album Of The Year, then all credited technical and creative contributors who worked on that album are automatically nominated.

On Kayne’s Donda album, Shenseea was a featured artist on the tracks, ‘Pure Souls’ and ‘OK OK pt 2’, while Buju Banton was credited on the album for the single ‘Believe What I Say’.

The 64th Annual Grammy Awards was slated to take place on January 31, 2022, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
