Police seized two rifles, a shotgun and a cache of ammunition, at stadium east in St. Andrew yesterday.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Fitz Bailey said, “the seizure is part of the JCF’s anti-crime initiative“.

Commissioner of Police, Major General Antony Anderson was on hand for the operation.

DCP bailey who gave the update on Sunday evening, said the police are pushing back, and will pull Jamaica from the hands of criminals. The operation continues on Monday.

The operation was carried out by members of the Counter-Terrorism and Organised Crime Investigations Branch (CTOC), the specialized operations branch, the Canine Division and the Jamaica Defence Force.
