The media fraternity is celebrating National Journalism Week from today, Saturday, November 21, 2015 until next Saturday, November 28.
The week of activities got underway this morning with a church service at the Andrews Memorial Seventh Day Adventist Church, in the Corporate Area.
National Journalism Week is being held under the theme, “New Media, New Challenges.”
Among the other activities for the week will be a conversation with Senior Editor of the Washington Post, Kenisha Malcolm, under the theme: “Live Local, Work Global, a panel discussion on “Modern Media: Competition and Customer Choices”; the annual Veterans’ Luncheon and the awards for outstanding journalism will be held on November 28.
