This, as it says a fraudulent message is now being circulated on social media concerning the recruitment of persons for jobs in Canada.

The Ministry notes that neither the government of Canada nor the Ministry of Labour is associated with the message.

It is encouraging job seekers to ensure the legitimacy of any offer of employment, prior to the payment of fees or providing personal information.

The Ministry is further urging job seekers who are in doubt about job offers to make contact with the ministry for verification of information.
