The number of people suffering from post Covid conditions across the world continues to grow.

That’s according to Covid-19 technical lead at the World Health Organization, Dr Maria Van Kerkhove.

Speaking at a WHO press briefing on Wednesday, Dr Van Kerkhove noted that the global health agency is working to understand the conditions that are being experienced by people who were infected with Covid-19.

She said the WHO will be hosting a number of global consultations to specifically look at the issue of post Covid conditions.
