Minister without portfolio in the Office of the Prime Minister, Homer Davis, has encouraged stakeholders in Westmoreland, to begin identifying lands and buildings, for business processing outsourcing, BPO, investors to expand their operations.

Mr Davis said expanding BPO operations in the parish is a positive move, especially since over 25 percent of Westmoreland residents, travel daily to Montego-Bay, for work in the sector.

He said, the BPO sector will help many persons gain a steady income in the parish.

He was speaking at a stakeholder’s meeting in Westmoreland.
