The Health Ministry is reporting 5 additional Covid-19 deaths.

The deaths occurred between October 2021 and February 2022.

Three of the deceased are from St Elizabeth with St James and Hanover accounting for the others.

Meantime, there were 94 new Covid-19 cases.

Of that number 50 were females and 44 were males ranging in age from 2 days to 95 years.

Kingston and St Andrew had the highest number of cases with 24 followed by St James with 18.

St Mary recorded no new case.

The positivity rate is 8.5 percent

199 persons are hospitalized with Covid-19, 4 are critically ill, 22 are severely ill and 46 are moderately ill.

There were 2-hundred and 63 recoveries bringing that number to 75,103.
