According to the Ministry of Health & Wellness, 35 new cases were recorded yesterday, down from 41 recorded the previous day.
Of the new cases, 14 are females and 21 are males. They range in age from 7 months to 88 years.
The country’s case count is now 127, 741.
Kingston and St. Andrew recorded the highest number of cases with 8. The positivity rate is 7%.
Meanwhile, 3 more people have died from COVID-19. The deaths occurred between October last year and this month.
The deceased are 1 female and 2 males, ages 77 and 78 years. They lived in Westmoreland, St. Elizabeth, and Manchester.
The death toll is 2, 798.
Another coincidental death has been recorded, while 2 more deaths are under investigation.
Some 188 people are hospitalized with the virus; among them are 22 who are severely ill, 5 who are critically ill, and 36 who are moderately ill.
The Ministry notes that 230 more people have recovered.
