Another infant has died after being left in a car unattended.

Police reports are that four-year-old Jodane Clarke was allegedly left inside a vehicle outside the Destowe Bennett Basic school in St. Andrew for several hours.

Just last month an 18-month-old girl died after being locked up in her father’s car while he was at work.

Head of the Kingston Eastern police, Superintendent Tommy Lee Chambers told Irie FM News that Jodane was taken to school by a teacher along with three other students after 8 am yesterday and was accidentally left in the car until later in the afternoon.

She says counseling is being provided for the child’s family members and other individuals impacted.

Superintendent Chambers says documents on the case will be sent to the office of the DPP.
