60 new Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday (February 25), pushing the country’s case count to 127,916.
Of the new cases, 39 are females and 21 are males.
They range in age from 4 to 103 years.
St. James recorded the highest number of cases with 22, followed by Clarendon with 8.
The positivity rate is 6.1 per cent.
Meantime, 1 more person has died from the virus.
The deceased is a 93 year old man from st. Elizabeth.
The death toll is now 2,811.
Another death is now under investigation.
147 persons are hospitalised, among them are 13 who are severely ill, 9 who are critically ill and 35 who are moderately ill.
289 more persons have recovered from the virus.
