The government has indicated that the school feeding programme, will resume when full face to face school gets underway next week.

Through the programme, the School Feeding Unit provides nutrition support in the form of meals and snacks to encourage greater and more regular school attendance along with enhancing the learning capacity of students.

The programme was put on pause due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Speaking at this morning’s (March 3) sitting of the Standing Finance Committee, Education Minister Fayval Williams said the program will benefit over 100,000 students.
