A man has been taken into police custody in relation to the killing of St. Ann hotel manager Clyde Taylor.

Taylor’s body was found yesterday after he was reported missing on Sunday (Feb.27).

Head of the St. Ann police senior superintendent Dwight Powell told Irie FM News that the police are seeking two other persons who they believe can aid in the investigation.

He said the body of the man was found in the back of his Nissan Note motor car in Top Hill, Hampton district, with multiple chop wounds to his head.

SSP Powell says Taylor was reported missing after he was last seen by family members leaving his home in Runaway Bay, at around 9:30 PM on Saturday.

In sending his condolences to the family and friends of Taylor, SSP Powell called on anyone with information to contact the police.
