A 15-year old student is among two persons hospitalised in serious condition following a shooting incident along the Ocho Rios bypass last evening (March 23).

The incident also left one man dead.

The deceased has been identified as forty-one-year-old technician, Julian Facey, of Parry Town, St. Ann.

Head of the St. Ann Police Division, Senior Superintendent Dwight Powell told Irie Fm News that the incident happened at around 7 p–m.

He said Facey was driving a motor vehicle, along the bypass, with the student and another person, as passengers, when they were pounced upon by gunmen.

He is urging anyone with information that can assist the police to come forward.
