Davian Bryan who was apprehended by the Portland Police on Wednesday (March 23) after being sought by lawmen since October last year, has been charged with wounding with intent.
Representative of the Portland Police’s Communications Unit, Sergeant Delrose Green says the charge is being laid against Bryan, following the wounding of a female in Durham Gap in the parish on March 11.
Sergeant Green notes that other charges are expected to be laid by other police divisions that have an interest in Bryan.
Bryan had been on the run, following his alleged abduction of two young girls in Bath, St. Thomas last year.
He was also wanted for rape and illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.
Bryan was captured in Durham, Portland during a targeted raid in the community.
