Police investigating killing of 13-year-old boy by his uncle in Clarendon yesterday

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the killing of a 13-year-old boy, by his mentally challenged uncle, in Cross Hill Clarendon, yesterday morning (March 27).

 

He has been identified as Omarion Haniford of Morant Housing Scheme in the area.

 

It has been reported that at around 8:45 am, Omarion was at home when his mentally challenged uncle took a knife and stabbed him in the neck.

 

He ran out of the house and collapsed in the yard.

The teen was pronounced dead at hospital, while his uncle has been taken into custody.
