A call is being made for parents to be extra vigilant when caring for children.

This, following the death of a one-year-old boy, after he reportedly fell from a bed at his home in Croft’s Hill, Clarendon yesterday (March 28).

Children’s Advocate Diahann Gordon Harrison says parents and adults must be more assertive to ensure the safety of the nation’s children.

She stresses the importance of doing what is necessary to protect children.
