UPDATE: Police make progress in clearing roads leading to Brown’s Town St. Ann after residents protest for a second day over poor road conditions

Lawmen have made progress in clearing roadways in St. Ann North Western, after motorists for a second consecutive day, erected blockades in protest over poor road conditions.

 

Head of the St. Ann police, Senior Superintendent Dwight Powell says the police have restored access to sections of the Runaway Bay to Brown’s Town main road.

Noting that Member of Parliament for the area, Krystal Lee is slated to meet with the protesters SSP Powell says he hopes a resolution will be found.
