The Opposition is urging the Government to implement more initiatives that will help citizens, especially small business owners to properly manage their monetary affairs.
Speaking with IRIE FM news, Opposition Spokesperson on Finance, Julian Robinson says too many Jamaicans are experiencing challenges in handling money.
He laments that this is due to insufficient initiatives to empower citizens on financial matters.
He says financial literacy will serve citizens in various areas of their lives.
He notes, however, that the Government has to play a role in getting more people to learn about handling their finances.
