Jamaica’s Covid-19 positivity rate increases to 7.4 per cent

Jamaica’s Covid-19 positivity rate has increased to 7.4 per cent.

This after 35 new Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday (April 19).

They include 17 females and 18 males, ranging in age from 1 to 71 years.

The Health Ministry has also reported 4 additional Covid-19 -related deaths.

The deaths occurred between July last year and January this year.

The deceased are 2 males and 2 females ranging in age from 28 to 91 years.

They lived in St. James and Trelawny.

13 persons are hospitalised with the virus, while 84 more people have recovered.
