Opposition Leader Mark Golding has pledged to continue doing his best to get a peaceful resolution to a land dispute in Little Bay, Westmoreland.

The dispute involves residents and the owner of the property at Little Bay.

Mr. Golding has called on Prime Minister Andrew Holness to intervene, noting that the situation is volatile.

In a visit to the residents yesterday, Mr. Golding said it is not his wish that the situation becomes politicised.

He said the laws of the land should ensure that situations of this nature are solved amicably.

He reasoned that while there may be some give and take in resolving the issue, it will see all parties benefiting.
