The Covid-19 positivity rate has increased to 14.8 per cent.
This as 66 new cases were recorded yesterday (April 26) , pushing the country’s case count to 129,747.
Of the new cases, 40 are females and 26 are males.
They range in age from 5 to 84 years.
Kingston and At. Andrew recorded the highest number of cases with 24, followed by St. James with 19.
Meantime, 5 additional Covid-19 related deaths have been recorded.
The deaths occurred between December 2020 and August last year.
The deceased are 4 males and 1 female, aged 68, 74, 75, 83 and 90.
Three lived in St. Catherine and 2 in Westmoreland.
22 people are hospitalised with the virus, while, there have been 56 new recoveries.
