Jamaica’s Covid-19 case count surpasses 130,000 mark

Jamaica’s Covid-19 case count has surpassed, 130,000.

This as 84 new cases recorded yesterday (April 30), pushed the tally, to 130,062.

The positivity rate is 10.2 per cent.

Meantime, 2 more persons have died from the virus.

The deaths occurred in August last year and February this year.

The deceased are a 36-year-old woman from Westmoreland, and a 69-year-old man from Kingston and St. Andrew.

24 persons are hospitalised with the virus, while 122 more persons have recovered.
