Seven Jamaicans boarded a deportation flight from the United Kingdom to the island early this morning (May 18).

According to the UK Guardian, the home office initially had over 100 people on the list of Jamaican nationals that officials hoped to remove.

However, dozens of them were granted a last-minute legal reprieve.
