Sunshine Girls Shamera Sterling and Latanya Wilson active on defense in Suncorp Super Netball league

Sunshine Girls Shamera Sterling and Latanya Wilson were both active on defense in the latest action in the Suncorp Super Netball league in Australia. 

Lenize Potgieter was brilliant on the offensive end for the Adelaide Thunderbirds…. who battled to a 62-55 win over the Queensland Firebirds. This to close out the action in round 10 .

Sterling who played goalkeeper had 4 gains and 2 rebounds to gain 80 Nissan net points while Wilson who finished with a team-high 104.5 Nissan net points had 5 gains and 3 intercepts.

At the other end Potgieter was perfect from the field, scoring a game-high 46 goals from her 46 attempts.

Elsewhere star shooter Shimona Nelson scored a game-high 50 goals from 54 shots ….but was unable to prevent the Collingwood magpies from suffering a 69-60 defeat to the Giants Netball team.

Yesterday, Jhaniele Fowler converted 48 of her 49 attempts for the west coast fever who suffered a 70-64 loss to the Melbourne Vixens….while Kadie-Ann Dehaney accumulated 8 gains, an intercept along with 2 rebounds for the Sunshine Coast Lightnings in their narrow 61-60 loss to defending Champions New South Wales.
