Jamaica has recorded 288 new Covid-19 cases, pushing the case count to 133,538.

Of the new cases, 165 are females and 123 are males, ranging in age from 7 to 83 years.

The positivity rate has increased to 27.6 per cent.

The Health Ministry has also reported 5 new Covid related deaths.

The deceased are 3 males and 2 females from St. Catherine, ranging in age from 38 to 88 years old.

78 persons are hospitalised with the virus.
