The Bamboo to Brown’s Town roadway, in the vicinity of the Bamboo Public Library in St. Ann will be closed to vehicular traffic, on Sunday May 29.

The closure will be in effect between 8 a–m and 10 p–m.

During the period of closure, motorists travelling from Bamboo to Brown’s Town or vice versa, are urged to use the alternative route from Runaway Bay to Brown’s Town, via Orange Valley.

The closure is to facilitate the installation of a pipe culvert across the roadway.

The National Works Agency said the drainage improvement work forms part of a rehabilitation project being undertaken along that roadway, over the next six weeks, at a cost of 6.5 million dollars.
