Two men were killed in separate incidents in Portland, today (May 29).

One of the deceased has been identified, as Collin Coulson, a resident of land-settlement in the parish, while the other remains unidentified.

The incidents occurred in Nonsuch District and Port Antonio.

Coulson was killed in the latest incident in Port Antonio.

Reports are that about 2:50 pm, passers-by found Coulson suffering from stab wounds.

The police were alerted and he was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

And, the other man was shot dead by a licensed firearm holder during a home invasion in Nonsuch, this morning.

Police reports are that about 4:45 am, the licensed firearm holder was at home when he heard strange sounds and went to check.

While making checks, he saw two men, one of whom pointed a gun in his direction.

He fired shots at the men who then ran.

The wounded man was later found lying on the ground.

The police were summoned and the man was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The other man managed to escape.

The police are investigating the incidents.
