The Transport Authority says discussions with the Finance Ministry regarding the distribution of gas relief funds to Public Passenger Vehicle PPV operators, should be completed by the end of next month.
In March, Finance Minister Dr. Nigel Clarke announced government would provide $25,000 gas relief grants, for PPV operators to cushion the rising cost of fuel.
The programme will cost just under $600 million.
The authority says the discussions which are in the final stages are centered around developing an efficient and effective mechanism for PPVÂ operators to apply for and access gas grants, in a transparent and accountable manner.
