A teen boy who is now paralyzed after being shot in March last year, is to travel to the United States later this month for surgery.

However, the trip to the USA is dependent on the family’s ability to raise funds for travelling and other expenses.

17-year-old Nesean Blair was hit by a stray bullet, which is now lodged in his spine.

A Go-Fund Me account set up to raise funds towards getting medical attention for the teen overseas, has been helpful so far.

But Nesean’s mother, Kedine Blair said more help is needed for the trip.

And, Nesean said money is also needed for diapers and food.
