Covid-19 positivity rate increases to 22.5 percent

Jamaica’s Covid-19 positivity rate has increased to 22.5 per cent.

This as 150 new cases were recorded, yesterday (July 16).

They are 76 females and 74 males, ranging in age from 2 to 93 years.

Meantime, one additional Covid-19 related death has been recorded.

The death occurred in November last year.

The deceased is a 73 year old man from St. Catherine.

88 people are hospitalised with the virus, while there have been 96 more recoveries.
