Two men were shot and killed in Central Village, in St. Catherine, this morning (August 4).

They have not yet been identified.

Head of the St. Catherine South Police Division, Senior Superintendent Christopher Phillips told Irie FM News that the incident occurred after 11 a–m.

He said one of the men was fatally shot by the police, after he and another alleged criminal, shot and killed the other man.

He said a weapon was also seized following the incident.
