A man was shot and killed along the Bull Point main road in Ocho Rios, St. Ann, on Sunday evening.

The deceased has only been identified as Bredda, of Falkland in Ocho Rios.

Reports are that at about 7:20pm, citizens heard explosions and summoned the police.

Upon the arrival of the lawmen, the man was seen suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.

He was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The St. Ann police are theorizing that the incident was as a result of an ongoing gang feud.
