Land has been identified for the construction of what has been deemed a proper prison in Jamaica.

Prime Minister Andrew Holness made the disclosure while responding to questions at a Jamaica diaspora town hall meeting in Trinidad, yesterday (August 29).

He noted that the government has been placing focus on building specialized, high-security prisons, in the country.
