At least three people were fatally shot by members of the security forces during a confrontation in Hague settlement, in Falmouth, Trelawny, early this morning (October 8).

The incident allegedly took place at a party sometime around 1 AM.

Police also stated that a Jamaica Defence Force soldier was wounded in the incident.

The identities of the deceased have not yet been released.
