Two men were shot, one of them fatally, in Mocho, Clarendon, on Saturday night.

The deceased has been identified as twenty-nine-year-old David Dyer, of Belmont, Mocho in Clarendon.

Reports from the may pen police are that about 11:00 p.m., Dyer and the other man were at a dance in the community, when two men armed with handguns walked up to them and opened gunfire hitting them before escaping on foot in the area.

The police were summoned and both wounded men were taken to the hospital, where Dyer was pronounced dead and the other man admitted in stable condition.
