Efforts are to continue today (November 6) to retrieve an excavator operator who fell in a marlpit at Exton near Junction, in St. Elizabeth, yesterday (November 5).

Reports are that shortly after 2:00 pm the man fell in the marlpit during a freak accident.

The police and firefighters were called.

However, efforts yesterday, to retrieve the man who is feared dead, were unsuccessful.
